Bangin' in the Brush Turns 30

The Bangin' in the Brush 10K trail race celebrates its 30th anniversary on Saturday.  The race's motto is: "We run rain, shine, or snow," but the dry conditions this year could make the course less muddy.  Organizers say the race is "the hardest 10K in the world," as its put on by the Korkki Nordic ski club( a name just brings thoughts of Sisu), and run on trails that soon will be the domain of the skinny ski crowd.  The Duluth News Tribune article on the event is HERE.
