Mt. SAC Results

Will Leer won the 5K at the Mt SAC Relays on Friday in 13:21.55 and St. Thomas' Taylor Berg won the women's open 5K in 16:34. Berg was also second on Thursday in a section of the 1,500, running 4:28.49.  MSU-Moorhead's Jerrell Hancock finished third overall in the 200(20.97), right behind Olympic decathlon champion Aston Eaton.  Hancock was also sixth overall in the 100, winning his heat in 10.52. Wisconsin's Rob Finnerty finished twelveth in the elite 1,500 in 3:44.92, while Team USA Minnesota's Jonathan Peterson was 17th in the Olympic Development 1,500 in 3:46.69.  MSU-Moorhead's 4 by 400 relay of Derek Bredy, Laquare Robinson, Keith Turner, and Matthew Loehr were sixth overall, fourth in their heat, in 3:13.36.  MSU-Moorhead's Sarah Bowler was ninth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in 11:15.60. MSU Mankato's Keyvan Rudd was eleventh in the high jump(2.05m/6' 8.75")

MSU-Moorhead's Molly Montoye was seventh in her heat in in the 1,500(4:43.34), and her teammate Spencer Ruebke was 23rd in the men's steeple in 9:50.19.  MSU Mankato's Jessie DeJong finished 20th in the same heat in 5:12.62.  MSU Moorhead's Clayton Foster was 13th in a heat of the 1,500 in 3:50.97.

MSU Mankato's Christopher Reed was 24th in the hammer throw(48.77m/160'). MSU Moorhead's Carmono Lane won his heat and finished 35th overall in the 100(10.87). Teammate  Jonathan Demus was seventh in his heat, 42nd overall in the 100(10.93), and ninth in his heat and 53rd overall in the 200(22.42).  Bredy and MSU-Mankato's Anthony Gustafson ran 10.99 in the 100 in separate heats to finish 49th and 50th overall. MSU-Mankato's Nicholas Nelson was sixth in his heat and 34th overall in 10.87. Robinson finished ninth in his heat of the 110 high hurdles, 34th overall, in 15.02.  Katie Ryan of St. Thomas was 7th in her heat, 51st overall in the women's 100 hurdles in 16.13. Both MSU-Mankato and Moorhead's 4 by 100 relay teams were DQed for lane violations.
