Amanda Smock Wins Kansas Relays Triple Jump

Amanda Smock won her first outdoor competition of 2013 taking the triple jump at today's Kansas Relays with a leap of 13.32m(43' 8.5") on her final jump.  She led the competition early as after a foul on her first jump she took the lead with a leap of 13.25m on her second. Nobody else came close. Inclement weather moved both the shot put and long jump indoors on Wednesday and Thursday. Weather improved on Friday, getting over 50 degrees with the forecast to rise into the 60s for Saturday.
