The Minnesota Association of USA Track & Field anounced that Jenelle Deatherage and Jason Lehmkuhle were named USATF - Minnesota's Athletes of the Month for February.

Deatherage (pictured) was recognized for her victory in the mile at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games on January 26. The former Team USA Minnesota star clocked 4:32.95 in an effort that re-established her as a contender for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team at 1500 meters.

Lehmkuhle was recognized for his runner-up finish at the USA Half Marathon Championship in Houston on January 13. Lehmkuhle, who finished 5th at the U.S. Olympic Men’s Marathon Trials in November, clocked a PR 1:02:32 in the effort.
