Yes/No: Collegeville victorious at Pike Island?

The USA Track and Field Team Circuit concluded with the TC 10 Mile race last Sunday.  The points will be tabulated and winners announced soon.  With that series wrapped, USA Track and Field teams can now turn their attention to the four-race Cross Country Circuit.

The first race of the circuit, the 5 x 5k Fort Snelling Relays, was contested in September.  This weekend, teams will return to Fort Snelling for the second event, the Pike Island Open Cross Country 4 mile race.  (This is a change from 2011, when the Minnesota Cross Country Challenge at Highland Park Golf Course was the second race of the circuit.)

Yes/No: Will the Collegeville Track Club win the Open Men category at the Pike Island Open Cross Country race on Sunday?

The results from the 5 x 5k Fort Snelling Relays can be found HERE.
The results from 2011 Minnesota Cross Country Challenge at Highland Park is HERE.

The Pike Island Open will likely be a very small race.  Early registration entrants can be found HERE.

To play our game, simply type "yes" or "no" into the subject line of an e-mail and send it to us at DtBFantasy [AT] gmail [DOT] com before 9:00 A.M. CDT, Sunday, October 14th.  Please put your answers in the subject line of the e-mail and make sure your full name appears somewhere in the e-mail.

My Answer:  Yes

Last week's question was Will the TC 10 Mile course records both be broken (Men 46:35 and Women 53:16)?  The answer was no.  Mo Trafeh won the men's race in 46:56 while Janet Bawcom won the women's in 53:43.  Mike Mason remains in first with twenty-five points.  Ryan Aylesworth and Heather Jelen are next with twenty-four followed by Gloria Jansen at twenty-three.
