Špotáková Euro Athlete of Month for September

Former Gopher All American and two-time Olympic champion in the javelin for the Czech Republic, Barbora Špotáková, was voted European Athlete of the Month for September. During that month, she won her second Olympic title in London and finished out the track season by winning the IAAF Diamond League trophy in her event.
