Podominick Gets A Standard Qualifier

Former Gopher thrower Liz Podominick threw an IAAF World Championships A standard qualifier last weekend at the Tucson Elite Classic.  Podominick, who is currently part of Olympic champion Mac Wilkins' group in Oregon,  finished second in the discus with a throw of 62.32m/ 204'5".
