The University of Minnesota's Quentin Mege broke his own school record while winning the hammer throw with a toss of 67.49m (221' 5")at the Baldy Castillo Invitational in Tempe, AZ on Friday. Teammate Micah Hegerle also set a personal record in third with a throw of 65.58m (215' 2"). Jon Lehman (tied for fourth, 62.41m 204' 9") and Justin Barber (seventh, 56.86m 186' 6") also set PRs.
In the 1,500 Blayne Dulian finished fourth in 3:49.43 while Bob Nicolls followed in fifth at 3:49.80. Full Friday results are HERE.
