The St. Thomas women finished fourth in the Distance Medley Relay on Friday at the NCAA DIII Indoor Track Championships in Napville, IL in 11:37.96. Hamline's Shawny Kramer finished fifth in the weight throw with a season's best toss of 17.60m(57' 9"). Concordia Moorhead's Kaari Jensen was 13th in the Penthalon with 3,246 points.
For the men, St. Thomas' Maxwell Dunne is second in the Heptathlon after the first day of competition with 2,817 points, Cameron Clause of Gustavus is 11th with 2530, and St. Thomas' Gavin Yseth is 12th with 2511. Gustavus' Josh Owens finished fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.89m(16' .5")Bethel's Zach Haskins qualified for the mile finals on time, running 4:14.32 in the second heat.
