Stanford junior Garrett Heath won the mile and anchored the winning DMR at this weekend's MPSF Indoor Track Championships at the University of Washington. Heath led a one, two Stanford finish in the mile, running 4:07.39. Teammate Hakon DeVries was second in 4:07.83.The Distance Medley Relay team broke the conference record, running 9:31:52. The mark is an automatic qualifier for the NCAA indoor championships. To complete his busy weekend, Heath also finished fifth in the 3K in 8:07.79.
Stanford(83) finished third in a tight race in the men's team competition behind Oregon(90), and California(84.5).
