In Portland Track Festival High Performance 800 Sunday night Gopher grad and OTC Elite's Harun Abda takes fifth in 1:47.77, Brooks Beast Garrett Heath 13th in 1:49.10, and Team USA Minnesota's Travis Burkstrand 15th in 1:49.39. Race run in five heats with the times determining place.
Team USA Minnesota's Meghan Peyton fifth in women's High Performance 5K in 15:52.72. In the Men's High Performance 5K teammates Jonathan Peterson and Eric Finan finished eighth(13:42.65) and 11th(13:47.83)respectively. The race was won by Mo Farah in 13:23.42. Results are HERE. On Saturday Hamline alum Devin Munson, now representing Rogue AC, placed second in the 10K in 29:00.23.
