Jon Tollefson was 23rd in the the 110 Hurdles prelims in 14.43. Hurdle results are HERE. They are from Northport HS, not Minnesotans, but twin brothers Tim and Jack McGowan and teammate Mike Brannigan tied the record of the 1975 Hammond Trio of Tim Keough, Rudy Chapa, and Carey Pinkowski as the only high school team that had three runners break 9 minutes for the two mile in the same year. Brannigan won the NB Outdoor Nationals 2-mile in 8:53.59, Tim McGowan was third in 8:56.60 and Jack McGowan fourth in 8:57.57. Video of the race is HERE.
