Kara Goucher finished fifth in 32:59.23, Danielle Stack 13th in 34:13.52, Meghan Peyton 17th in 34:51.49, and McKenzie Melander 21st in 37:00.43 in the 10K final. Team USA Minnesota's Jon Peterson finished 21st in the men's 10K in 30:19.74
Richfield's Obsa Ali placed ninth in 15:22.3, and Edina's Will Burke was 15th in 15:30.84 in the USATF Junior Championships in the 5K.
Team USA Minnesota's Gabriele Anderson, running her last quarter in 60.86, won her heat in 4:11.55 to qualify for the final of the 1500. Teammates Jamie Cheever qualified for the finals of the 3000 meter steeplechase finishing third in her heat, seventh overall in 9:59.35; and Heather Kampf finished third in her heat in 2:02.23 to qualify for the semifinals on time.
Will Leer and Ben Blankenship qualified for the men's 1500 final, finishing second in their heats. Leer was second in heat on in 3:41.01, and Blankeship ran 3:41.86 in heat three. Garett heath finished fifth in heat two in 3:48.03, and Rob Finnerty was eighth in heat three in 3:42.72. Neither advanced to the final.
The Gopher's Haran Aba finished sixth in the fourth and final heat of the 800 in 1:47.02 to advance to the semifinals on Friday. His teammate Travis Burkstrand was fifth in heat two in 1:49.49, but failed to advance.
Maggie Ewen finished seventh in the USATF Junior Championships shot put with a throw of 47'5.75"(14.47m). She fouled on four of her six throws.
