Jen Houck Runs PR 2:37:16 for 19th at Chicago

Jen Houck, the 2009 Minnesota Runner of the Year, established a new personal best with her 2:37:16 clocking at this morning's Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

Houck, who ran 2:39:02 at the Boston Marathon in April, succeeded in the warm temperatures that greeted runners in Chicago today. Houck finished 19th and was the 8th U.S. finisher in the race.

Former University of Minnesota star Chad Johnson finished 18th in the men's competition in 2:19:31.
