In an exclusive Runners World story by John Brant, 2003 Twin Cities Marathon champion Eddy Hellebuyck admits he used EPO to prepare for that race and others late in his career.
The Belgian-born naturalized American citizen tested positive for EPO in 2004 at age 43, but denied using the drug at the time, going as far as appealing his case to the Court for Arbitration in Sports.
