Here's a quick review of where the top Minnesota teams stand in this week's rankings ...
Wayzata Back on Top ... The Wayzata boys team return to the summit of the state Class AA polls on the merits of its win at last week's Victoria Lions Invitational. The Trojans scorched then-#1 Edina and then-#3 Eden Prairie at the meet.
The rest of the top-ranked teams and individuals remained unchanged this week. Find all the Minnesota high school rankings HERE.
St. Olaf Women Drop ... The St. Olaf women, ranked #1 in the NCAA Division III Central Region last week dropped to #2 this week after losing 65-99 to host Wartburg at the D3 Pre-National meet on Saturday.
D3 national rankings will appear HERE later today.
All Steady in D1 and D2 ... No news was generally good news in the D1 and D2 rankings world. The latest NCAA Division I poll was a repeat of last week's, so the Gopher squads eyeing the competition at this weekend's D1 Pre-National meet in Terre Haute, Indiana remain the #25 (men's) and #26 (women's) teams in the country.
The Division II national poll released today, HERE, the UMD women are ranked #7, just like last week.
