There Is No Finish
Line, the film that chronicles and celebrates the life and running career of
Joan Benoit-Samuelson, former women's marathon world record holder and first
Olympic women's marathon champion, will premiere at the Riverview Theater, 3800 42nd Avenue in
Minneapolis on Wednesday, February 27 at 7 PM. Also shown will be Running The
Rockpile, a documentary on the Mount Washington Road Race, and A Runner's
Life, a short film made by Minneapolis native Alex Nichols about his former
college cross country and track coach at Colorado College, Ted Castaneda, a
five-time All-American runner in the '70s at the University of Colorado. Tickets
are $10 in advance at www.imathlete.com/events/tinfl and $13 at the door the night of the
show.
