The Gophers men will split their track and field team this week. Most of the group will compete at the Musco Twilight Meet at the University of Iowa Saturday and the rest will head to California for the Mt. Sac Relays.
The Gophers are also gearing up for the higher caliber meets as the season progresses. Next week is the Drake Relays in Des Moines, followed by the Big Ten Championships May 11th-13th at the University of Wisconsin. The Regional and National meets follow in late May and early June.
This week we will check in with the stellar throwing group heading to Iowa with this questions...
Yes/No: Will two or more Gopher throwers eclipse 200 feet in the men's hammer throw at the Musco Twilight Meet at the University of Iowa on Saturday?
Micah Hegerle is the top ranked hammer thrower in the Big Ten with a mark of 207-4. Quentin Mege is not far behind with a 205-9 throw. Jon Lehman has a best mark of 188 feet in 2012.

My answer: Yes
Last week's question was: Yes/No: Will Shanai Guider throw 160-3 (NCAA D2 Auto mark) or farther at the Falcon Invitational on Saturday? The answer was yes. Guider threw 164-04 for the win. Twenty-four people answered correctly this week and there are currently two people tied for first place: Jim Glazer and Ryan Aylesworth.

It was very close, but the answer is no this week.
Quentin Mege threw a personal best 215 feet and Micah Hegerle threw 198-01.
