The Winona State University women's team rose to #18 in the latest NCAA Division II outdoor track and field rankings released earlier this week.
The Warriors, who are powered by a stellar throws contingent, were ranked #22 last week.
In the D2 men's rankings, Minnesota State, Moorhead is ranked in the top-25 for the first time this outdoor season, tabbed as the #23 team in the nation.

Hamline Cracks D3 Top-25 ... The Hamline University men entered the NCAA Division III outdoor track and field rankings the week as the #25 team in the country.
The 2011 MIAC outdoor runner-up are powered in the ranking by Devin Monson and Jack Deichert, the #6 and #21-ranked 5000-meter runners in D3, and hammer thrower Andrew Schlilchting, ranked #16 in his event.
The Pipers are the lone Minnesota college ranked in the D3 top-25.
