Team USA-ers Headed West for Mt. SAC

Four Team USA Minnesota runners will travel to California this weekend to compete in the Mt. SAC Relays or at the Bryan Clay Invitational, both scheduled for Friday.

At the 54th annual Mt. SAC Relays, held on the campus of Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California, Chris Rombough, Matt Llano, and Meghan Peyton will each compete over 5000-meters.

Rombough has a best in the distance of 13:42.05, Llano has run 14:00.01 and Peyton has run 15:41.1.

Jamie Cheever will compete in the 1500-meters at the Bryan Clay Invitational, which will be held at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California.

Cheever has a best of 4:22 in the distance.

Llano, Peyton and Cheever will be back in California next weekend as well, competing at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Palo Alto on April 29. At that meet, Llano and Peyton will compete in the 10,000 meters and Cheever will race the steeplechase.
