On Saturday, the Minnesota Association of USA Track and Field will honor the top athletes and contributors of 2009 at its annual Awards Celebration.Athletes ranging in age from the Junior Olympic bantams to octogenarian masters -- in disciplines including track and field, road racing, and racewalking -- will be honored at the gathering. The ceremony will also honor officials of the year and present a lifetime contribution award to long-time coach and official Bob Hoisington.
The ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm, at the Braemar Golf Course/Country Club, 6364 John Harris Drive in Edina. Find additional details and a listing of all the honorees HERE.
The event, which includes a buffet and cash bar, will be free to USATF - Minnesota members. There will be a $10 fee for non-member guests.
