The University of Minnesota men's track and field team is ranked #17 in the latest US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association national rankings released yesterday.
The Gopher fell four places since the last edition of the NCAA Division I rankings were released last week. The defending Big Ten indoor and outdoor champions are the third-best conference school in the rankings behind #13 Indiana and #15 Penn State.
The #34 Gopher women fell one place in this week's women's rankings. They are the fourth-highest ranked Big Ten school in the rankings. Penn State leads the conference at #9.

Division II Rankings ... In NCAA D2 rankings, St. Cloud State's women's team is the top-ranked local squad at #10. The Huskies are followed closely by #12 Winona State and #13 Minnesota State, Mankato.
In D2 men's rankings, MSU, Mankato leads local schools with a #19 ranking.

Division III Rankings ... In D3, the Bethel University men and the Gustavus Adolphus College women top local schools in the national rankings. Both are ranked #23.
