Want A Chance to Run on Target Field?

For the first time in the event’s history, runners in the 4th annual Fifteen’s 5K, hosted by Minnesota Twins All-Star pitcher Glen Perkins and his wife Alisha, will finish their races on Target Field. The fun run stars near Gold Medal Park at 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

The event, which supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and features Twins players awarding finishers’ medals, is organized by Twin Cities In Motion, the organizers of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and an array of other Twin Cities running events.

Participants will run to the Twins home ballpark from a starting line at 2nd Street S. and S. 11th Avenue, looping through Minneapolis’ historic Mill and Warehouse Districts, before finishing on the Twins’ home field.

Already, more than 1100 runners have registered for the event.  In-person registration is available during packet pick-up at the Twin Cities In Motion offices and in the start area on race-day until the event reaches capacity. The registration fee is $46.

Packet pick-up at the TCM office runs Friday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The Twin Cities In Motion offices are located at 2635 University Avenue West, Suite 190, St. Paul, 55114, in the Westgate III office complex.
Race-day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the starting area. Find additional information on the event at tcmevents.org.
