Carleton Women Ranked #12 in Division III

The Carleton College women's cross country team, 4th place finishers in the women's Maroon III division at the Griak Invitational last Saturday, are ranked #12 in the latest NCAA Division III women's poll.

The Knights are the top-ranked Minnesota small college in the latest D2 and D3 polls released yesterday.

The University of St. Thomas women, who finished just one place and 13 points behind Carleton at Griak are ranked #15 in the D3 poll. Bethel is ranked #28; St. Olaf is ranked #32.

Hamline University's men, who finished 4th in the Griak men's Maroon III division, are ranked #19 in the D3 poll. St. Olaf is ranked #31.

In NCAA Division II polling, the Minnesota State Mankato men fell to #20 in the rankings. The Mavericks, who finished 3rd in their division at Griak, were ranked #7 in the previous poll.

No Minnesota women's team are ranked in D2.
