Gleason featured in SI

Hamline's Brandon Gleason joins Kara Goucher and other noteworthy Minnesotans this week by appearing in in the Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd section of this week's magazine--The February 18 issue, not the Swimsuit issue. You can take a look at it here.

On February 11, 2007, Gleason was on a training run in St. Paul when he was struck by an SUV and both of his legs were run over. He fractured the tibia in his right leg and a steel rod had to be inserted along the length of the bone to repair the fracture. He returned to competition on January 26, running 8:34.45 for 3K at the Iowa State Open.
