No Pain, No Gain
Research on DOMS(Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) indicate that some of the muscle soreness runners experience may be a part of the muscle building process. Taking a substance to reduce that pain may also reduce the benefit of the training. Brings to mind the saying; "No pain, no gain" HERE.
