The Minnesota Distance Running Association's annual party will take place this Saturday at the Edina Community Center.Festivities will commence at 11:30 a.m. with pizza and soft drinks, followed at 1:00 p.m. with an awards ceremony. The party is free to MDRA members and costs $5 for non-members.

Lanin Award ... Masters road racing star and long-time MDRA officer Gloria Jansen will be presented with the Lanin Award for Distinguished Service. The award is MDRA's most prestigious honor, given for years of service and contribution to the sport.
The award is named for the founder of MDRA, Pat Lanin.
