Ron Hill Ends 52 Year Daily Run Streak

The worlds greatest run streaker ends his streak. Due to ill health Ron has decided to take a day off.

Minnesota Running Community Has a Lot of Streakers

Wayzata's Dave Emmans was noted recently on social media as a "streaker."  Not the clothless kind, but rather some one who has run more than 5,000 days in a row.  Emmans, number 179 on the list, is hardly the only Minnesotan with a streak, however.  

A look at the Official USA Active Running Streak List the longest streak by a Minnesotan  is Stephen W. DeBoer, who has run every day for more than 45 years.  The 669 and last listing on today's compilation is USATF Treasurer Chris Kartschoke, who began his streak a bit over a year ago.
