Yes/No: Albertson-Junkans under 56 minutes at Cherry Blossom?

Last week, the Yes/No contest followed the action in Palo Alto.  This week, we'll turn our attention to Washington D.C. for the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run, the 2013 Women's USA Championship.

Former Gopher Ladia Albertson-Junkans is fresh off a recent USA Championship at a similar distance.  She ran the 15k race in March and finished twelfth in 51:23.  Albertson-Junkans ran the USA 10 Mile Championships in 2012 as well, and she finished eight in a personal best of 55:44.

In a region of the country that is known for disagreement (Washington D.C.), let's see if we can all agree on how fast Ladia Albertson-Junkans will run...

Yes/No: Will Ladia Albertson-Junkans run faster than 56:00.00 at the USA 10 Mile Championships on Sunday?

The domestic field for the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile appears formidable.  Some of the top names include Janet Cherobon-Bawcom, Colleen De Reuck, Katie DiCamillo, Renee Metivier-Baillie and Jen Rhines.

Albertson-Junkans is a former High School State Cross Country Champion at Stillwater.  She went on to run for the Gophers and was a two-time Cross Country All-American.

To play our game, simply type "yes" or "no" into the subject line of an e-mail and send it to us at DtBFantasy [AT] gmail [DOT] com before 6:20 A.M. CDT, Sunday, April 7th.  Please put your answers in the subject line of the e-mail and make sure your full name appears somewhere in the e-mail.  We will offer a bonus for participants making their 2013 debut in Yes/No - a correct answer will be worth two points for anyone who has not played yet this year.

My Answer:  Yes

Last week's question was: Will Jeremy Drenckhahn run faster than 14:05 for 5k or 29:40 for 10k at the Stanford Invitational on Friday?  The answer was no - Drenckhahn ran 14:26.  Five players answered correctly this week - Lori Anne Schwiesow is now tied for first place with six points.
