The Latest in the World of XC Rankings

Here's a round-up of the latest cross country rankings from NCAA Division I to the MSHSL:

Gophers Rise ... The University of Minnesota men's and women's squads each moved up a spot in this week's NCAA Division I polls. The Gopher men now sit in the #25 slot, while the Gopher women rose to #26.

Both teams rank #4 in the Midwest Region of Division I.

NCAA Division II ... This week's D2 national poll will be released later today. (Look for it HERE.) The UMD women, ranked #4 in last week's national rankings, are the #3 team this week in the Central Region of Division II.

NCAA Division III ... This week's D3 national poll will be released today as well. (Look for it HERE.) The St. Olaf women were ranked #1 in this week's Central Regional poll; Hamline's and St. John's men were ranked #2 and #3, respectively, in the region.

Minnesota High Schools ... The latest Minnesota high school cross country polls can be found HERE. The Perham boys are back atop Class A, after St. Cloud Cathedral held the spot last week.
