New Poll-Toppers: Perham Boys, Jordin Kopplow

Two new names -- and a host of returning leaders -- top the newly-released Minnesota high school cross country polls.

Perham replaces Plainview Elgin-Millville atop the Class A boys' rankings. The Yellowjackets, which started the year ranked #2, assume the leaders' position after a strong win at the Staples-Motley Invitational last week.

Adrian's Jordin Kopplow, who opened the season ranked only #7 among Class A girls, assumed the top position in the rankings from Clare Flanagan of Blake after her individual win at the Marshall Invitational.

In Class A, last week's girls' team leaders Adrian and boys' individual #1 Mubarik Musa remain atop the polls.

Likewise, Class AA team leaders Eden Prairie continue to rule the large school girls' and boys' team rankings. The top-ranked Class AA individuals remain Aaron Bartnik of Eden Prairie and Marie Hauger of Shakopee.
