Science: DOMS Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness
DOMS is the acronym and a lot of people in Boston will be experiencing it tomorrow. Learn a bit more about it and how to deal with it HERE. The principle is for building into your training program, rather than recovery from a marathon, but it also explains why you get sore, especially from the downhill segments at the end of the Boston Marathon.
