Gopher women Alena Brooks(Trinidad & Tobago) and Te'Shon Adderley(Bahamas) helped their 4 by 400 teams finish sixth and seventh, respectively at the Commonwealth Games last weekend in Glasgow. The T&T team ran 3:33.26 to finish third(an automatic qualifying pot) in the prelims on Friday, while the Bahamas team ran 3:31.02 in fourth in their heat to qualify for the final on time. In the final T&T ran 3:33.50 and the Bahamas 3:34.86. Results are HERE.

In "old news" Gopher men's discus thrower Bryan Bjerk finished eighth with a PR of 55.05m/180'7" at the US Junior Championships in Eugene the first week of July. Full meet results are HERE.
