Traditional Powers Lead Team Circuit

Two races into the 2011 USATF Minnesota Team Circuit, sponsored by Twin Cities In Motion and Lifetime Fitness the traditionally strong road racing squads from Run N Fun and TC Running Company are again battling for supremacy in the open men's and women's divisions.

The Run N Fun men's open team leads TC Running Company 18-16 after scoring of the St. Patrick's Day Human Race and Saturday's Get in Gear 10K. Last year, RNF beat defending champs TCRC for the men's open Team Circuit title.

TC Running company currently leads the standings in the men's masters and grand masters divisions.

In women's open competition, Run N Fun, the winner of five-straight women's open Team Circuit titles, trails TC Running Company by one point in the 2011 standings. TCRC has 14 points; RNF has 13.

Run N Fun leads the women's masters division of the circuit; the Minnesota Distance Running Association tops the women's grand masters' table.
