Aaron Studt Completes One, Two US Sweep in Shot Put at NACAC
The University of Minnesota's Aaron Studt completed a one, two sweep for the US in the Shot Put at the NACAC Under 23 Meet in Miramar, Florida on Sunday. Ashland University's Kurt Roberts won the event with a toss of 61 feet, 1/4 inch. Studt won the silver medal with a 59 foot, 9 inch throw. It was the second silver medal won by a Gopher athlete at the meet, as Ben Blankenship took second in the 1,500 meters on Saturday.
