It took longer than usual, but Grandma's Marathon finally reached its 9500 entrant capacity, according to race officials. The marathon joins its sister events (grandchildren?) William Irvin 5K and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in being closed to registration.More than 17,000 athletes are expected to compete in the three events held on the weekend of June 15-16 in Duluth.
