USATF Junior Champs in Eugene start on Saturday. Lakeville South grad Shaina Burns has already made the US team in the heptathlon. Wayzata grad Michael Smith is running the 400, Waseca's Shane Streich and Elk River HS grad and St. Thomas University's Ryan Trapp are entered the 800, Bemidji's Jenna Truedson the 3K, and Minnetonka grad Mia Barron both the long and triple jump.
