Farimont's Sherwood Sagedahl, 74, was busy on Friday at the National Senior Games in Cleveland, Ohio. He started by finishing sixth in the M70 200 in 30.65. He followed that with a third place finish in the 1500 in 5:46.73, and closed the day's action in fourth in the 400 in 68.54. Carl etter won the M65 triple jump with a leap of 9.22m/30'3".
Kathleen Wertanen, 70, from Peterson, MN, finished 13th in the W70 shot put with a toss of 5.46m/17'11". LeSeur's Stuart Peterson, 67, was 17th in the shot(9.94m/32'7.5") and 18th in the discus(29.21/95'10").
