Anderson Ninth at Diamond League Meet

Team USA Minnesota's Gabrielle Anderson finished ninth in the 1500 at the Sainsbury's Birgmingham IAAF Diamond League Meet on Sunday in 4:07.98.  It was a windy day, which led to many tactical races decided by kicks, as reflected in the 1500 results where the entire field was separated by a little more than six seconds.  Sweden's Abeba Aregawi won in 4:03.70, which was seven seconds slower than her fastest time this year.  Results of the 1500 are HERE.
