Peterson, Three Others into Western States

Brian Peterson of Minneapolis will be running the Western States 100-mile race in California this June. He was one of more than 270 applicants to have an entry ticket drawn at Placer High School in Auburn, California on Saturday.

Peterson, 27, has finished two 100-mile races to date. He won his debut at the 2010 Superior Sawtooth 100, and placed fourth at the Cascade Crest 100 in Washington State in August.

Peterson will be joined by fellow Minnesotans Scott Hoberg, David Holmen, and Ethan Richards at Western States.

Unofficial lottery results are posted HERE. Official results should be posted to the site shortly.

Brian will do well out there. The last two years we've (Minnesota) has only had two runners each year, but we've had 100% finishing rate. Hopefully our four this year have a good day in June.
