USATF Minnesota to Honor 2010's Best

USA Track and Field Minnesota will honor the state's top athletes of 2010 at its annual Awards Celebration on Saturday, February 19 at the Braemar Country Club in Edina.

Ahead of the gathering, which is free to USATF-Minnesota members, award-winners, and their guest, and costs $10 for other attendees, the organization has announced its award winners.

They are:

Bantam Athletes of the Year - Ben Olson, J'ianna Cager
Midget Athletes of the Year - Jesse Delgado, Lauren Smith
Youth Athletes of the Year - Matthew Rosen, Elise Anderson
High School Athletes of the Year - Devin Crawford-Tufts, Jessica January, and Sasha Davis
Masters Runners of the Year - Patrick Billig, Sonya Anderson
Open Track & Field Athletes of the Year - Aaron Studt, Gabriele Anderson
Masters Track & Field Athletes of the Year - Ralph Maxwell, Tweety Wolf
Race Walker of the Year - Phil Rogosheske
Cross Country Runners of the Year - Patrick Parish, Amy Lyons
Mountain/Ultra/Trail Runners of the Year - Chris Lundstrom, Helen Lavin
Mountain/Ultra/Trail Contribution Award - Larry Pederson
Officials of the Year - Donna Zirgibel, Marc Hoyer
Life Time Contribution Award - Merrill Fischbein

Also honored will be Long Distance Runners of the Year Dan Greeno and Michelle Frey, and a host of age-group Runners of the Year, listed HERE.
