TCM Seeking Scholarship Applicants ... Twin Cities in Motion is seeking applicants for its college scholarship program. The organization awards $5,000 in scholarships annually to one male and one female high school senior in the Twin Cities metro area.

Scholarship winners are selected based on academic achievements, community service, and running accomplishments (in either cross-country or track) as well as by a personal essay. Applications will be taken through March 1.

Michelle Volz, of Lakeville North High School, and Samuel Seehof, of Minnetonka High School won the scholarships in 2009. Volz, who attends the University of Minnesota, and Seehof, who attends Dartmouth College, were selected from nearly 100 applicants.
