This week, Yes/No will focus on the USA Cross Country Championships in Maryland. Minnesota harriers are expected figure prominently in the results where the top 6 men in the Open 12k and top 6 women in the Open 8k will qualify for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in late March.

To play our game, simply type "yes" or "no" into the subject line of an e-mail and send it to us before the deadline. We will continue to offer a bonus for participants making their debut in Yes/No -- a correct answer will be worth two points for any first-time players.

Last week 15 contestants correctly predicted that Kara Goucher would win the Millrose mile. The tie for first place overall has now been whittled down to 8 contestants that each have a perfect score of 3 points. Stay tuned... we will likely debut the Yes/No leader board next week.

This week's question is...

Yes/No: Will four or more Minnesotans finish in the top six of the men's and women's open races at USA Cross Country?

Note: Team USA MN leads the way with 6 participants in the race: Katie McGregor, Meghan Armstrong, Emily Brown, Matt Gabrielson, Michael Hanlon and Antonio Vega. Read about this group here. The most up-to-date startlist for the USA Cross Country is here. Minnesotans in the race -- i.e., athletes who have attended HS and/or college in the state or who reside here now -- include (but may not be limited to): The Team USA Minnesota crew, Luke Watson, Levi Severson, Hanna Grinaker and Emily Schwitzer.

Send your "yes" or "no" answer to DtBFantasy [AT] gmail [DOT] com before 11:59 a.m.. CST Saturday, February 7th. Please put your answer in the subject line of the e-mail ... and make sure your full name appears somewhere in the e-mail.

My Answer: No

Good Luck and thanks for playing Yes/No on DtB!
