Wayzata's Connor Olson broke away late in the race and held on to win the boy's Class AA title in 15:17.1. The sister duo from Alexandria of Megan and Bethany Hasz switched places from last year with Megan winning in a course record time of 13:40.9. The team races were tight. For second place. Wayzata won the boy's race with 47 points and the girl's team title with 65.
In the boy's race Hopkins and Stillwater tied for second with 87 points with Hopkins taking home the trophy based on the tiebreaker of the place of the sixth team runner. Hopkins' Hunter Staack finished 28th. Stillwater's Jonathon Breckheimer was 34th. In the girl's team race, two points separated the second and third place team finishers. Edina scored 94 points and Willmar 96.
