Hauger Wins Fourth Individual Title as Wayzata Takes AA Girls Team Championship
Shakopee senior Maria Hauger won her fourth state title and broke the seven-year-old course record of 13:54.7 set by Holy Family's Brea Wetsch with a time of 13:42. Wayzata sophomore Anna French led the Trojans to the team title with a second place finish in 13:57.6, followed by Alexandria freshman Bethany Hasz in 14:05.5. Wayzata scored 50 points, runner up Eagan 93, and third place team Edina 129. The top 36 finishers in the girls AA race ran under 15 minutes.
