The Eden Prairie boys' and Mounds View girls' teams won last night's Class AAA True Team State Track and Field Championships held at Stillwater High School.
Eden Prairie topped Rosemount 903 to 838.5 for its title. Mounds View edged Hopkins 860 to 836.

Once again the Strib misses the true story line of the AAA True Team Meet. Yes, the Rosemount DQ in the 4X100 was important but really stood out was the EP Distance runner sweep in the 3200 meters after the False start DQ of our top 200 meter runner. Sandle who had already won the 100 meters and triple jump would have finished at our near the top of the 200 meters, scored no points in the event. Then in the next event we go 1,2,3, now that's a story!
