Since it was lit on March 24, the Olympic torch has attacted protests by pro-Tibetan activists and others opposed to the policies of 2008 Olympic hosts China. As the Olympic torch relay makes its only stop on U.S. soil in San Francisco today, we wanted to note Jay Weiner's brief history of the Olympic torch ceremony, HERE, from yesterday's edition of MinnPost.
