Sharpened up this weekend by racing an 800m at the @adidasboostbostongames, and was pretty darn pleased to place 3rd, in 2:00.55 (just a half second off my lifetime PR)! Everything seems to be coming into place quite nicely, and I just can't say enough how grateful I am to be healthy, confident, and having fun going into the Trials. I had the added bonus of meeting some studly future Gophers, Megan and Bethany Hasz, who were out there to race the #dream1500!! Nothing great is accomplished alone- thanks as always to my big time supporters, @asics, @teamusamn, @nuunhydration, @soundprobiotics, @pickybars, and @flynnsports, and God above for abundantly blessing my life.
Jaret Carpenter runs 4:05.73 Dream Mile in Boston. (63.2, 61.7, 61.9, 58.8) Converts to 4:04.3 1600m for 6 sec. PR / Wayzata school record.— Wayzata Track&Field (@WayzataTrack) June 18, 2016
