UMD Women, who are ranked fourth in NCAA DII coaches polls repeat as champions at the Griak meet, but still looking for improvement. What the team needs, says coach Joanna Warmington is some help in the middle. While the top three runners are within 32 seconds os one another. The gap to the final two finishers is a minute and 11 seconds. "I'd like to have somebody to pull those two(groups) together," says Warmington. The ability to close that gap between the top three and the final two could be crucial to the team's hopes to move up nationally.UMD's Breanna Colbenson shows the effort it takes to finish third in the Woman's Maroon II race.
