The University of Minnesota Duluth women won the team title and Winona State placed fourth at the NCAA DII Central Region Championships in South Dakota on Saturday. Both teams earned trips to the NCAA DII National Championships. U-Mary's Jennifer Agnew won the individual title in 20:26.57 for 6K
Augustana won the men's team title with the Vikings' Paul Yak taking the individual honors in 31:13.99 for 10K. The UMD women packed their top three runners in the first eleven finishers while their fourth and fifth scorers ran together to finish in 24th and 26th. The Bulldogs scored 72 points, 38 points in front of runner up Southwest Baptist. Winona State scored 150 points.
